The most recent Charter cable customer survey reported that 37% of viewers in our area watch TV2 one to three times per week. When that survey was taken there were over 26,000 households in our community watching cable television.
As a cable subscriber in this community, I endorse using a portion of the cable franchise fee to fund TV2 operations. It is both smart and fair.
By withholding TV2 funding while our community still gets to watch TV2 puts the burden of support on others. I want our local government to be a good regional citizen. It works better when we all chip in.
